Lots of catch-up on mine, please

Here is our recent history, in pictures. :D

Blake was a mummy cowboy for Halloween. The toilet paper wrapping was better before I was able to get him to stand still for the pictures...and lasted about 2 minutes more...then he was just a dead cowboy. But that was okay, he got candy, anyway.

Blake lost his top canine teeth around the same time and discovered that he could make a new face because of it.

Here is our lovely Christmas tree...Michael and I put it up, Michael and Blake put on the lights, and Blake put on the ornaments. Michael needed presents under the tree, so we got everything wrapped...pretty, huh?

With the exception of Michael (for driving's sake) WE LOVE SNOW!!!! Out our front door last night, with Blake, our poor cold little boot scraper dragon and our backyard last night.

Today I shoveled, and swept the back porch off. Then I took a picture. You'll notice the snow is pretty much the level of the step to the porch. And it just keeps snowing...no one's complaining here!!!

Exactly two hours later, I took another picture. We really are enjoying this white stuff!

Okay, the dogs seriously hate it and it takes a lot to get them out to go potty. I think they'd rather hold it indefinitely.

Michael really fell in love with degus, so we got two a few months ago. They are really fun and sweet and make some really cool sounds. At first we thought we had a boy and girl (Mathias and Cornflower)...and then we wondered and tried to figure it out again and decided we had two boys (Mathias and Cluny). Friday we learned the truth for sure. Meet the babies! Five baby degus...oh my, they are so cute and Michael is so excited to have them. They are related to guinea pigs and chinchillas and their babies are born fully furred, eyes open and running around pretty soon after. Mathias and Cornflower are great parents...they share all the work...it's so adorable. They don't pick up the babies and carry them around, they just herd them with their feet.
